A different way of approaching spiritual practice
This course isn’t about filling your brain with even more techniques or carving out hours of time that you don't have.

It’s about creating a daily habit stack: four simple, effective practices that work together to support your nervous system, focus your mind, and deepen your spiritual connection.

Over 28 days, you’ll be guided to move from:

-
Inconsistent or non-existent practice
to →
-
A steady, embodied daily rhythm you can sustain beyond the course
It's not about making your spirituality something to plaster all over Instagram.
It's about you creating a daily practice that fills your soul, every single day.

“The topics felt accessible, particularly journaling - I loved that, and I was surprised how much I enjoyed the meditation.
The meditation and movement in particular helped me find some mental space and calm even in the midst of turmoil at home. Doing the practices helped me go "take a breath" in some conflicts with my partner ... it even allowed me to actually de-escalate him a couple of times."
- Kirsti, Coach
“The course was brilliant and gave me fresh perspectives on practices I knew, like meditation, but needed to remember. I really felt like I had permission to play with spirituality and that I was learning new things, not just re-hashing stuff I'd heard before. The journaling method was great, really useful and efficient so I wasn't spending hours writing!”
- Helen, GP and Coach

About the facilitator

Astra has spent over a decade as an educator and professional facilitator, alongside training as a trauma-informed coach.

Their own spiritual journey began with deep scepticism: raised atheist, resistant to organised religion, and wary of anything that felt prescriptive or dogmatic. But since their awakening in 2017, Astra has explored a wide range of practices including meditation, ecstatic dance, chanting, silent retreats, vision journeying, tarot, and more in an effort to find the core of daily faith - whatever your background or belief system.

As Astra notes: "Everyday Faith emerged from noticing the same frustrations again and again, in myself and in the people I worked with. We were afraid of these practices and worried about getting it wrong. We felt like there wasn't enough time to explore them fully. But more than that, we felt embarrassed and 'weird' for wanting spiritual connection to be part of our daily lives.

This 28 day course was created to meet those frustrations with compassion, clarity, and structure so you can build a daily practice that brings you closer to your soul, your faith, and your personal understanding of God."
“I've done a lot of courses and self-development work, and I loved that Astra had taken time to research different perspectives on the practices they were bringing in. Astra has some very new insights into practices; for people that have done lots of other self-development work, there's so much repetition and theirs felt very individual and personal, and honest.
Since my 50th birthday, I've had this thought in my mind about the second half of life - that you spend the first half of life pushing out, and seeking, and there's almost a sense of coming home again in the second half, but you don't take the same route. The practices that Astra taught fitted with where I'm at in my stage of life ... and helped me find my way home.”

FAQs
Is this a religious course?
No. Everyday Faith is not affiliated with any organised religion and does not require adherence to specific beliefs or doctrine. While the course uses the language of spirituality and God, it is designed to be open, non-prescriptive, and accessible, especially for those who have complicated or painful relationships with religion.
I've tried journalling and meditation before and couldn't stick with it. How is this different?
This course isn’t about learning more techniques, it’s about building consistency. The practices are simple, efficient, and supported by clear structure and assignments over 28 days, helping you move from intention to daily action without having to rely on stubborn willpower.
How much time do I need each day to complete the course?
The practices are designed to be effective without being time-consuming. You’re not expected to spend hours each day on the practices. The taught content is around 3.5 hours, and most participants find they can integrate the daily practices into a manageable, realistic rhythm that fits around work and life.
Is this suitable if I'm neurodivergent or easily overwhelmed?
Yes. The course was created by a neurodiverse, trauma-informed practitioner and is intentionally structured to reduce overwhelm. Clear guidance, predictable structure, and gentle pacing support different ways of thinking, processing, and engaging.
Do I need prior spiritual experience?
No. Everyday Faith is suitable whether you’re spiritually curious, returning to practices you’ve explored before, or looking for a way to reconnect without pressure. Everything is explained clearly, and you’re encouraged to adapt the practices to what feels right for you.
What if I struggle with guilt or shame around spirituality? Or feel embarrassed about what I believe?

This is a core focus of the course. Many participants feel uneasy about taking time for spiritual connection because of experiences in the past or a lack of spiritual community around them. Everyday Faith offers a way for you to reframe spiritual practice as a form of regulation, care, and grounding rather than something to be embarrassed by, or guilty that you are doing it 'wrong'.
Are the videos live or pre-recorded?
The videos are live recordings from the original iteration of the course. You can watch them at your own pace, and many students find it supportive to hear other participants’ reflections during the sessions.
How long do I have access to the course?
You’ll receive ongoing access to the course materials so you can revisit the videos, downloads, and practices whenever you need.
What support is available if I get stuck?
You’ll have access to a dedicated student support email throughout the course, where you can ask questions or seek clarification as you move through the 28 days.
